So, I been playing d2 again now for a few weeks. I just got my first temp ban I checked out the guides on how to fix it, basically it says I have to change my IP.

But the methods given are for Linksys and are NOT similar to my Belkin lol.

So can someone please tell me how, or give me a referral, on how to change my IP using a Belkin N Wirelss Router. My computer is connected directly to the router via Ethernet cable, not through the wireless signals.

Yea I tried that one Can get to the point of DHCP release, but that option doesn't exist on my Belkin. Unless it is worded differently and I'm too retarded to figure it out lol.

And yes, I have done both unplugging and resetting of my router. I have also unplugged all cords and reset of my modem. And I used to do this all the time when I had xp and connected directly. I simply would diconnect, ipconfig/release, connect, ipconfig/renew, and it would always work. but not on vista

Plug directly into your modem, if you still get the error call your isp ask for a ip change, if you don't get the error and its just the ip from the router set a static.
