you can also just wait it out sometimes they are just 5-10 mins long for joining games to fast but can rang to hours depending on what you did.

If you were to get banned you'd have this message [8] (I think). Numbers such as that mean you've violated Blizzard's Terms of Usage.

So no, it may just be something hindering your connection.
