I have a few questions.
I buy and sell isk in Eve Online. I need to know if FG hold's any Monetary value. I AM NOT LOOKING TO SELL FG. I need to know if it holds any value because I want to know if I am essentially Real Money Trading (RMT) in eve online.

This is the eve online eula:

B. Selling Items and Objects
You may not transfer, sell or auction, or buy or accept any offer to transfer, sell or auction (or offer to do any of the foregoing), any content appearing within the Game environment, including without limitation characters, character attributes, items, currency, and objects, other than via a permitted Character Transfer as described in section 3 above. You may not encourage or induce any other person to participate in such a prohibited transaction. The buying, selling or auctioning (or any attempt at doing so) of characters, character attributes, items, currency, or objects, whether through online auctions (such as eeebay), newsgroups, postings on message boards or any other means is prohibited by the EULA and a violation of CCP's proprietary rights in the Game.

1. Am I breaking it?
2. Does FG hold Monetary value?

Any help with this inquiry could result in a donation of fg :)

Thanks to those who help!

/e I already looked through the rules of d2jsp, i could not find anything on this. So i am coming to General Help.

I think that to the plain users on Jsp, FG has no monetary value. It does until purchased, but once it is on our accounts I'm pretty sure it loses all of that value. You should be fine.

The reason being: We aren't allowed to sell FG for $$, and that simply makes FG lose the monetary value that it has before it is purchased (IF it's purchased, ofc.)

So all in all, I think that it would be fine.

Thank you, There is a fag who is trying to blackmail me into thinking that CCP (Makers of Eve Online) Will give me the ban hammer because i RMT.

I truly feel that FG has no monetary value.

It's still very possible, the rule is there so that people keep their trades in-game, for in-game items, FG is not in in-game item and it's still possible that it breaks that rule.
They don't know whether you trade it for money or for something else.

As much as I believe it isn't, this could be true:

They may not be specific enough.. I think they'd probably get mad no matter what you did if you were trading in-game items/things for non-in-game things, you know?

Either way, I'd probably still do it if it was with a friend or something, but I'd be more cautious doing it with random members.

Please be more specific. And last i saw you quit and sold your char.

How am i breaking the EULA? And if i am breaking it buy buying/selling isk. Then are you telling me EVERY other buying/seller is breaking it? And what about other games? Like Runescape? RMT is illegal there too, So are you telling me most users on Jsp are breaking the TOS/EULA?
