Did you try pressing the "input" button on the remote to find ANT 2 in the list?

I have a 42" Samsung and it works for me.

On mine it says scan for air or cable channels. If it says that on yours you are going to want to search for air channels.

Do you live in a remote area? I do and placement of the antenna is critical for me to get any signal at all.

Literally one inch can be the difference of 1 choppy channel and 12 clear ones.

Try getting a longer cable and moving it around. Have it search channels every time you move the antenna.

Yes it says air or cable- i select both - it finds noting but 1-2 channel while i have 40 +

I have a cable that comes out from the wall. It is not attached to an antenna.

From samsung user guides its as simple as:

I've done that but the TV seems unable to find channels.

and yes i tested this cable on another TV and it works perfectly.

When i scan it find 1 channel. i tried STD HRC and IRC scans..
