If it's between $5 and $9.99 then anywhere within that range should get you the star. Or if you wanted both it and the Dark Grey, do the $10 - all up to you.

The gray stars are not 5-9.99 each. If you donated a total dollar amount of 5-9.99 you get that star. Once your total donation goes up, you get access to another star, etc.
