How come I can't edit a thread I made, after only a few hours? I don't really feel like making a new thread because I want to change the major deal of information that's inside the thread:/ The thread is quite big.

You can only edit a thread up to 30 minutes after posting it.

This is to prevent people from editing out trade threads to hide scams.

Ah right, god damn that :/

Would it be possible to get a forum moderator to change the info inside it by any chance? Or do I have to repost it?

Alternatively, if you are technical and inclined.

You can take a picture of your thread thread and put that in your first post.

You can continue to edit the image, and reload it to the URL its hosted on, and have a dynamic trade list which is not against the rules :)

But I won't explain any more in depth than what I already have

No, you'll have to wait 4 hours until it can be bumped again

He doesn't want to bump it, he wants to change the first post.

He/She only option is to either:

A. Post an image as the first post and edit that.
B. Continue bumping the thread with the new ISO/FT list

The point of the bump is to update the trade list, since editing is no longer an option after 30 minutes. Hence why I told him he must wait.

You can make new threads, but if it has the EXACT same ISO / FT as the previous, you need to follow the 4 our bump rule before posting.

Otherwise, people would make a new identical thread every 20 minutes to stay on the top.

So the 4 hour bump rule is in place regardless of if you are bumping a thread, or making the same thread again.
