i have this gray bar in my notes section and a modifed time thing is there a way to get rid of it

Settings -> profile Settings -> use transperent middle section if i remember correctly.
For the time: Settings -> Use 24 Hour Time Format

There is no way to get rid of it, I'm sorry you'll just have to deal with it.

If you don't want your notes to show at all, hit this button by notes then check the box "Hide this section"
