Well here's the problem:

Every time when i switch the act using a npc for the first time after Completing Q6 I'll get an error which closes my game.

I guess it has something to do with the video sequence which should be initialized ( I dont see any video though)

Running on Windows 7, as administrator and with 2d graphics

If someone got a solution how to fix this, please let me know!

Do you use the parameter -ns or -no sound? If so, remove it.

I had the same problem , I didn't have the video sequences installed either but once I did install them it didn't change anything.
It might be the "no sound" issue , did you try this?

You use -ns and if you finish the last Quest in the Act and switch via npc the act you gotthis error its a Bug from D2 still not fixed
