So, I posted a thread requesting some useful proxy servers...little did I know, this simple request was not allowed due to "3rd party hacking blah blah".
Funny thing is, though, I wasn't saying anything about hacking or anything malicious at all. All i was doing was requesting a useful proxy server as my job requires me to be fast on the internet and proxies serve me the best. I am concerned now that even this thread will be closed simply because I am bringing up the word proxy. Please explain to me, someone, what is so wrong with discussing something that is 100% legal and publicly available for anyone to use.

you may not advertise for IP's that has not been expressly authorized. (Or provoke others to do so)

I already explained why it wasn't allowed and if you had any further questions, you could ask a member of the mod team. There was no need to post another thread about this.
