can anyone walk me through a step by step ip reset for windows 7?

Well, you can try it like this: Search in google for "What is my IP". There are plenty of sites that show you your IP. First, try to un- and replug your router. That's the simplest way to reset your IP if you have a dynamic one. You can also try the guides above and skip to the IP reset step. If you have a static IP, that's unfortunately not possible.

Edit: Forgot to mention that you should compare the two IPs after the procedure of course. If they have changed, you have succeeded.

ik what my ip is but the problem is i dont know my admin account on the router
