It comes very often for me if I change characters (fast muling, or searching item..)

Ip change, or anything like that never work.

Solution is simple!

Go to Diablo II - Folder.
Delete: bncache.dat

Done! and now you dont get that "unable to connect Battle.net message"

This is simple, Topic name is clear, Unable Connect Battle.net
Guides lookslke somekinda nerd-slang: Connection issues blaablaa.
When I see something like that, I just "Didnt read" and close
