I just started playing diablo 2 after 3 years. I get my internet through the apartment complex becuase my roomate took the money i was paying for good internet and ran with it. So i have to settle for the crappy complex internet. I can log on for about 5-10 mins before i get kicked off and it tries to log me back in. The new message i get is unable to connect to diablo 2. Check to see that your firewalls for port 6112 is turned off. I know they can block some ports so you cant access it. But I am able to log in for a while every now and again. Is it because they actually blocked the ports or may it be something else? How can i log on still if they did block them. I tried calling them and everyone in the office acts like they have no clue what im talking about. They never call me back so im wondering if there is a fix for this?

Pay for a better one ,From what i can tell if there just messing you around , Switch provides, tuff it out untill you can afford it.

Only option i can think of if there just playing around with you.

You may want to check your Firewall settings. It could be them that is restricting you, or yourself.

Alright thanks guys. I guess i will stick it out. I have about 25 more days that I paid for and my lease is up at the end of the month. I use windows 7 and had to switch a bunch of stuff to get d2 working with the compatibility(sp) issues. Would i have to open port 6112 and 4000 through my fire wall?

Unless its blocking you and giving you the same issue when you pay for your own internet , then no , But if its still blocking you , Disable it.
