I've just gotten back into D2 after seven years, and just found this amazing place. I was just wondering if there was some kind of rough accepted price list in fg for common items. I have been looking around be haven't found any stickys or anything, and I just wanted to get a sense for how valuable fg was before I start trying to buy and sell and get ripped off all sorts.

You're also allowed to make price check threads in the trading grounds.

Your best bet is making a price check thread in the trading forum of the realm you're playing. Most price guides(Most notably the East NL price guide that Jct linked) are horribly inaccurate. If you play ladder, prices can fluctuate daily, and if you play NL, the market is pretty much dead.
