How is an auction off topic in the trade forum? Closed right after I only got first bid. Are they friends with this guy and trying to prevent someone from outbidding?

Why did this get closed? Bumped every 4 hours? Don't see anything wrong with it.

Let me rephrase my question. If the trade forum is not the appropriate place for an auction, i.e. if trading is off topic in the trading forum, where is the forum where auctions are on-topic? So that I can be sure to post in the correct on-topic forum for trading/auctions...

The trading forum is clearly the correct sub-forum, you just made it seem like a giveaway, so a mod closed it for some reason.

/e And I have no clue why Knuck's thread got closed, my guess is "Too many threads in the top 50." I was talking to him about that He had like 5-6 threads closed at the same time.

You may not attempt to bypass the rules.

And since the trade forums is for trading you must trade and not spam (e.g free giveaway)

Do not hold any kind of events like raffles/ironmans/barbruns etc.

since this statement was added to you trade "first 0fg gets it for free if no one bids higher" it became an event and falls under the ETC part of the above rule

Free giveaways are allowed, but must be posted in My Events & not the trading grounds My Events Guide

I see nothing wrong with it... Plz have him PM the link to a Trade Moderator & Politly ask them to explain Y it was closed or if they can re-open it

If the topic creator of the thread in question states the reason for closure it would be easier for us to investigate.

But My bet is that the topic creator had two threads about the same trade, which is an early bump.
