It's annoying as hell that I can't change my name because some user from '03 chose it and haven't used his account AT ALL since then. Is there no way to "remove" this account or change his name since he's obviously not using it? >.>

I'm not posting the actual name unless a medi tells me it's possible...

At least change his name >.> but yeah I kinda expected that this would be the case, just thought I'd ask anyway.

I've seen accounts get deleted but I think you pretty much have to pay a really high amount of forum gold and its also like an unpublished feature.


and FYI I could easily just look up the account names created on that day to figure out which one you want.

Private message him, and maybe he will come back a day and answer it. Ofc, paying the name change for him and you, plus a fee to him would be greatly appreciated from him I guess Just be patient I saw users that were in the same situation than you, and the guy got back.

Did you see his status? 0 posts in 8 years... I'm pretty sure the guy forgot all about his account, his password and perhaps even this forum.

Yeah I'm sorry the odds of him coming back are beyond reasonable.

I've been wanting a name change for awhile and I have filled my address book with accounts that I hope are not taken but end up being inactive 2003 accounts, I know exactly where you are coming from.

I'm sorry but you will just have to find a new name if you want a name change
