It depends on the context of it

IE:

If someone is looking for something & u find it for them & they send u FG/$ for finding it for them... Then yes it would be a donations

However... If someones looking for something & u contact them stating u can find if for them for XX $/fg for finding it.. Then no, its a Service

if you know ahead of time that fg will be recieved for finding X then i would consider it payment not donation
