Well...i got cakewalk setup today (for those of you that dont know...its a program that records your instrument onto your computer)

Anyways, I plug my guitar in, and i cant hear anything out of my computer...no music...no nothing...as soon as i unplug it, i can hear everything just fine...anyone have an idea of what may be going wrong? Please lmk asap

That is because you are plugging your Elecktrick Guitar via USB. What you can do with this is go into your audio properties and set it so the playback options so that you can hear what you are playing simultaneously as you are recording kind aman62696 person of D2JSP. These options are located on your machine kind aman62696 person of D2JSP. Yes, when you install any USB audio device it completely eradicates any of your machine's output sounds. This is why you have to adjust your audio properties.

And its not just the playback i cant hear...i cant hear anything else at all on my computer...
