So I bought fgs for two weeks ago.

This time my friend is owe me some money so my first thought was that he maybe could donate those money to me by buying some fgs here on d2jsp on my account.
Now what I wondering, is it allowed?

He isn't related to any jsp account since he's not playing diablo.
He's just a IRL friend.

Yes it is allowed, as long as he is willing to buy you the forum gold, JSP can not decide from which bank-account the money comes from, it is just like a donation.
It is the same thing as if your parents decides to give you forum gold as a gift, and you use their credit-card, if this wasn't allowed, a lot of people in here wouldn't have any forum gold, as long as it is a legal way you have received the money it is okay to buy forum gold for it.

I can see some trouble with:



example:

thestrayboys

- donates using Bob Smith info [credit card / bank number / etc.]

then

- donates using Joe Shmoe info [credit card / bank number / etc.]


The use of nonidentical information may trigger a flag for possible illegal use.


Save some trouble and have your friend give you the cash THEN handle the jsp portion yourself.

I do agree with Guppie, it would be better if he gave you the cash ''in-hand'', but the fact is that there isn't any rules that state that your friend may not pay for your forum gold, so you wont break any rules by doing that.

As long as the creditcard ain't stolen, or used illegal, and both parts (you and your friend) agree, that he will pay for your forum gold, then there is no problem, it aint even illegal by law irl, because you decide how you want to spent your money.



He will get his stars, as long as the forum gold is purchased from his account.

I read about the rules and I haven't seen anything that states that what we're going to do is illegal.

I'm just afraid to give out my information (pass, ID) through internet (imageshack, tinypic etc) but he said by himself that he doesn't have a problem with that (the guy who gonna buy).

- But if I should give you a advice, then don't give/send your personal-data over the internet, if it is a IRL friend then get him to come by your house, and buy the forum gold there, problem solved.
