when i call someone, it shows as unknown number to that person but i get their name when they call me.

Turn show my ID ( or phone number) ON

This should be in settings. I use an iphone and this is in my settings i guess its the same for BB.

Its an option via ur Service provider.... U either have your nuber blocked from showing up

Or they don't have caller I'd on ther plan

its my dads phone and it worked good until this morning. whenever he calls me it shows unknown but when i call him he gets my ID

Press the green send button from ur home screen menu button options General options

What does it say under "Restrict My Identity"

Make sure u press the green send button from the home screen & the screen that shows u, ur recent calls comes up

Then press the menu button & it should give u the options for there

Go down to/select Options

That should take u to phone options & select "General Options"
