like if someone gets onto my computer can they download anything?

you watch whatever they do any you can stop it anytime.

kk does it ask your permission b4 they download something?

you can see what they download you could always exit teamviewer or stop the download
teamviewer itself wont ask permission to download anything but your pc will.
also ive noticed while i used it with a friend he cant do certain things, not sure what that all is but for ex. i had to open things start programs that he couldnt.

well it's basically all the same but they just move the mouse while you watch them. you can overpower what they do with your mouse

It's safe but I would still be smart about you tv with.

actually its not, the other person can make your screen just black, if he/she does it, just press ctrl+alt+ent to opfen task manager, he cant do anything against it then
in addition they can turn off your mouse

Teamviewer is safe , depending on the PERSON.

But the APP is safe use

Be careful, sometimes at the same time you accept teamviewer if you don't know the person he may automatically transmit viruses. I recommend you knowing the person before you do anything.
