Would someone please help me figure how this works.
I wanted to check the price on item. So when i selected price check from the forum, then i selected to create a new tread. However, i did not see the option to do price check only FT or ISO. So i posted it as both. Then i got a message from auto response that my thread was moved to the Price check.

Now what i do not know is:

how do i create properly price check thread?
how do I delete or close the thread i made in my ignorance?

This guide should help you

You probably clicked New Trade instead of New Price Check so it took you to 2 options of FT or ISO.

Also you can't delete or close your own thread, kindly PM a Trade Assistant or Trade Moderator to have them close it for you if needed, otherwise just let it die out.
