What are "wet" and "dry" cell batteries and what are they mostly used for?

Are Duracell Alkaline batteries either of those?

And are the batteries in an iPod Lithium?

"Wet" cell batteries are filled with Water or jelly ( older car batteries were u had to check the water in them) think battery acid

"Dry" cell batteries have no liquid (most newer selfcontained car batteries & Cell phone/ipod)

Duracel Alkilines are "Wet" cells

Yes ur ipod uses Lithium Ion batterys like ur cell phone

Thanks! :)
