Hi guys,

I really haven't used jsp but I'd like to start. I'm wondering what the best way to start out is to build a positive reputation and build up some fgs.
I just started playing Diablo II again so I don't have any sweet items to sell for fgs, I get a lot of pgems and just started mfing through what I can in hell with my 84 sorc.
It's a little rough so I can't clear all the bosses. I'm 38 and don't want to scam anyone but with an account so new I understand that noone really wants to trust you with
all the antics that go on out there.

Just looking for some advice from the veterans on building up a positive reputation and a strategy to build up some fgs to gear my mfers for hell hunting.

Thank you!

IMO there is no need for positive reputation, it means nothing here. Just avoid negative reputation by following the posted rules. (dont get locked, tagged, or warned by doing something stupid)

If you are doing this to get items for diablo II, I would recommend getting FG from another source and spending it on diablo II. - go to the ladder slasher forums, its much easier and quicker to make some fgs on ladder slasher than diablo II, and its a much better community. You need some stuff to get started, but others are helpful, or play other games alltogether to get some easy fg.

as of note, use a mediator...

Go to the guild forums and attempt to join a guild! (some guilds pay fg for completing ladder slasher)

for some reason i doubt that you are 38 years old....

It is going to be a pain in the butt for you to be honest. DII is really dying down so you can sell a P runeword these days and make of decent. The kids will either troll your threads or underbid. If you have skills with graphics art, I would advise you to make sigs first. That should give you some fg to do stuff with. Feel free to PM me if you have questions. It's not easy being a part of this site without massive wealth or friends.

Thanks for the advice for those of you who gave it.
It sounds like it would just be best to avoid the forums altogether.

No not @ all, the forums are an intricat part of the site

Although D2 is slowing down, u can still make FG there

As far as reputation goes, @ 38 ur an adult.... So act like one

Follow all the site rules, don't get involved in spamfest or flamefest

Be honest, truthful, Respectful & have personal integrety... Be responsible for ur own actions

If u do those things while trading u will begin to get know as a GM (Good Mannered) trade within the forums

Trade Safe... Use a Mediator

Goodluck on ur start & enjoy the forums... Feel free to PM me if u have any questions, I'll be glad to assist u
