i have a blue helm of the squid if i use the soc quest will i get 2-3 socs or just one?

if i just get 1 is there another method to get 2-3?

I do know that once you have it socketed there is no way to add more.

Anyway, on magic items it's a 50/50 chance whether you get 1 or 2 soc.

Magic items receive 1 or 2 sockets for the socket quest. It's completely random.
