so im trying to run a game (counter strike:source) and everytime i join a game hl2.exe closes, so i tried running hl2.exe (the engine the gamer runs on) and it said binkw32.dll is missing, so i installed it and put it in both system directy folder and the folder the game was in.
now im getting a new error "The procedure entry point _BinkSetSoundTrack@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll"

i'm not sure running hl2.exe as an administrator will even help fix the game for me, but since im getting these errors and cant it's definitely a possibility so.. anyone know how to fix?

id start by re installing the game :\

Did you try placing the dll in the install folder?
