Outboard Prop Shaft Assembly.


rather then spending 700-1000$ that was quoted at the marine shop we'd rather do it ourselves

guy said 5 hours to take it apart at 90$ an hour labor it took myself and my dad 5 minutes. and 100-200 for new seals. but they could just re use the same seals there still good. but there shop won't use them.

our mechanic shop we use told us that that was insane and well myself and my dad are quite mechanical but we'd like to make sure we do it right so we don't mess up on the assembly.

Have u tried googling the outboard scimatics?

U can usually find a photo of the basic teardown/rebuild

i did, nothing sadly
