hey question. do i have to download the d2 AND lod clients for it to work? i already have the classic installed via the cd.

Yes because it requires a different type of cd key, 26 instead of 16, so you need to install either full cds or full off blizzard.

Lazyness , but with the client on blizzard store u don't need to use cd's!

It's still possible to play the CD installation without the discs. You just need to copy all missing .mpq files from the CD to your D2 installation folder.
