How Do I Use Only The Background Color? - Topic

I'm talking about my profile background..

When I select a color for my background and hit save changes, it appears blank..

@Namechange I can't check it because it says "Sorry, you are not permitted to use that image as a personal photo as the extension isn't on the permitted list."

What's the point of having a selection of background colors to use if it doesn't allow the option to use them?

You will need to use a background image to have this feature work. I just tested it myself.

IMO you could just find a background image of whatever color you want if it comes down to it.
