When I try to upgrade my Diablo 2 to Lord of Destruction gets stuck while the "Play Disc" is in, and it says I need to insert the "Play Disc" (which is already inserted). It's stuck on C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo 2\d2music.mpq

What do I need to do?

I think your cd might be damaged or scratched.

I'm pretty sure I encountered this years ago, but don't remember how to fix it.

You can try to wash your disk.

If it doesn't end up working you can always download D2 from Blizzard --> http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=32373257&f=21
