looking into this...it says

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Upgrade - 64 bit

does this mean its just an upgrade from vista, or will it work on a fresh computer?

It's simply an upgrade. My laptop currently uses it ;)

im building a new computer. will i be able to use that? or do i need something else for it to like..upgrade from

Oh, i'm not sure on that. I would think that you could use it in that state without having to have the original and then upgrade.

its an upgrade , exemple you got windows 7 home edition and you want to have more features of windows 7 , you buy the upgrade and you will have more features of windows 7

Nah this is wrong. I got the same thing from my school when win 7 first came out. It is an upgrade from vista. It will NOT work on a fresh install. However, you can call microsoft and explain it to them and they may give you a code for a fresh install (thats what i did)

i have windows 7 that had a few licenses, but they are all used up now. i have it on my laptop and current desktop.

am i able to remove win 7 from my laptop to free up a license to use for the new desktop? or will i have to find another way
