I have a basic Verizon plan.
I used my Env3 for Calling & texting, nothing else.
I broke it, but I can buy a droid for $60 used.
I simply want to use it for call/text, no data.

Can I buy this, deactivate my old one and reactivate the Droid in it's place?

I don't think so. The only way droids work is if you buy the data plan for $30 a month for the phone.
