I may have a virus on my computer, but I have no clue and don't want to do anything drastic.

My fps in games has dropped to 5fps from 60fps a couple of days ago. My flasher player has also slowed down significantly and my browsing has slowed as well.
I have run scans on my computer with a few virus scanners and nothing comes up. My drivers are all up to date and none of my settings have been changed from when there was nothing wrong to now.

Any help to troubleshooting this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think so, but is there any way I would know?

I've run CCleaner already, but nothing has happened. I'll try it again and hope that it'll work.

I would probably run a few different scanners. I like Avira antivirus along with cccleaner or spybotsearchanddestroy.

If none of those catches anything its probably a nasty little bugger and your best bet might be to just do a reformat.

I've run CCleaner, spybot, and avast, but neither have picked up anything. I'll probably have to reformat as a last resort =\

I have had this happen due to overheating. The way I found out was putting frozen vegetables under my laptop made it stop. :D

Anyone have any other suggestions? Apparently I had a trojan that I deleted, but is still giving me problems.

If a reformat is the only solution, can anyone help me with that?

find and download MalwareBytes Anti Malware
run a full scan

Edit: try HijackThis to scan, it goes through hidden files too
if nothing is detected, it may be a networking issue
