It breaks no rules, save for the instigation going on in it. It is General Chat afterall :)

I remember when I was recruiting for my guild in general chat, it got closed for wrong forum.

Judging by what else the forum talks about, I should think half of the content belongs in the love line (but then should be closed), or in favorite bands and music. Hope that helps :)
