SO I have been getting realm down a lot lately and I don't know why ( I'm not changing characters or anything) anyways how do I unRD myself I am with Rogers on a wireless connection I am unsure if I have a static/dynamic IP address. I am pretty sure it is static because I tried doing the /iprelease and then clicking automatically get ip address and it is always the same also I tried manually changing my IP address whenever I do this the internet no longer works until I put it back to the original IP I went through some of the sticky's and none have helped thus far any further help would be great

1) Click on "Start"
2) Click on "Run"
3) Type IPconfig/release
4) Type Ipconfig/renew

You should try to restart your internet and your computer, that probably will helps you , if it doesnt helps you , i would ask blizzard about how long your realm down will takes

You can try to contact your ISP and let them perform an IP change for you.

If you don't want to do that, try to get in touch with Blizzard by posting on their forum or using their webform.
They will give you details on how long your realm down stays.

I would be calling them an awful lot to do that lol alright so I guess the answer is I'm fucked
