Diablo 2 has had this problem for about 6 mos now on my comp. and only at this house. Internet works fine for everything but diablo. Mostly it happens when i open it and hit bnet to log on. it gets stuck at connetiong to fastest server and sits there forever. i can reclick and retry but to no avail. ive reased registries, running no cd, and have had my isp here and he says everythings fine. im about to quit becaus eof this and i have tons of gfg gear so i wanna fic this. ive done the netstat thing and it says 100 percent packet loss. someone onece told me my mac address could be blacklisted from the login attempts. PLEASE HELP

Have u tried deleteing "Bnetcache" from ur Diablo 2 Folder

It helps a lot with D2 connection issues

A new one will be. Replaced when u log into Bnet again

Battlenet server are laggy , if you use a router try to reboot your router and then try again .
If that doesnt work then try delete bnetcache --> located in D2 folder.
You can keep the fg's.

Have u tried running a "Vidtest" & setting it to DirectDraw?

Also try setting ur compatability to Windows XP & running as an administrator

Also are u running a firewall? ( Zonealarm etc) make sure its set to allow D2 to connect
