So I've had this pop-up every time my computer starts up for quite some time now, and I really want it to stop.
I've done countless virus scans, I'm certain there is no virus.
It shuts down the Generic Host Process for Win32
I changed the boot.ini command to AlwaysOff, and it still pops up, any idea what I can do?

Try turning it off
Simply go to My Computer and right click on it, select Properties and choose the Advanced tab. Click on the Settings button in the Performance section and select the Data Execution Prevention.
Something like this should show up:

rightclick my computer - properties - advanced - performance - settings - Data Execution Prevention - Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only

or maybe check if its a startup program thats doing that

start - run - msconfig - startup

list the programs here or in a pm if you want to, i'll try to figure out if theres anything that could do this

The weird thing is it still pops up even though DEP is turned off.

Now I don't know much about computers but have you tried doing that system back up thing where your computer resets itself to like 30 days ago. you know what I mean?
