I was scammed about a year ago (haven't been repaid ofc), and I've been wondering why its so hard to track down all the multis. Why don't mods have the power to look into goldlogs (so scammers can't hide their gold)? Or if they can already do this...why are there still so many scammers? ><

Certain moderators can see gold logs but just because FG was sent to an account that looks like a multi doesn't mean it actually is a multi in every case.

I wouldn't doubt it one bit, new accounts are made every 5 minutes it seems. Although a multi may seem obvious to us, mods must look at it from a professional stance. They can't call out a multi on the fact that it was created as soon as this user went away and it has been 30 days, things like that. It can add to proof though.

I agree with you. Checking the gold log would probably be the best place to start as far as the search for a multi is concerned, further ip checks could probably be used for verification.

Of course they can check IP and I think is the first step before gold logs couse will give u a firm evidence, but u can use proxies, ghost ip's or just ask a friend to create an account from his house, scammer will be logged, friend will be logged, so, how u can prove that it was the same person? I think that like in credit card cases, the gold in conflict should be locked until the s/a is investigated deeply.

People aren't locked blindly, it requires solid proof.
Lost fg will not be refunded unless the scammer decides to repay though.

Even if they do, fg can't be replaced/given back/taken from locked/banned members
