i don't have the cd / cd-key here to reinstall -,- is there another way to solve the problem?

thx guys but it doesnt work ;S there is no such a thing like " run as admin "

Right click D2 icon and go to properties.
e/ actually im not sure my d2 doesnt have run as admin either sorry
I use Windows Xp and mine doesnt have run as admin either and all i did was download the game off blizzard site and install the latest patch and it worked.

its german but as you can see there is nothing like "admin / admistrator "

run as admin is on the newer cpus my cpu has it but its very new and up to date, windows 7 etc.

yes^^ i know that i should run it as admin, but it doesnt work at all, are there no any other ways to solve it?

since it seems that you have windows xp, it must be a corrupted file that installed wrong
try reinstalling the game

This might work with your version of Windows:
Do a shift right click on the shortcut, choose "run as different user..." and type in the admin account & password when asked.



The CPU has nothing to do with the operating system. (Windows is an operating system, no CPU)
