how to i change display so can make itfrom 1 - 2 screens etc?
got a hdmi cable in.

Try going to :
Desktop --> Properties --> Settings --> Advanced --> Utility Manager --> Driver Mode Settings --> Under Driver Mode select the option Multimonitor option from the drop down list.

You could also try right clicking on the desktop and choose graphics options/external monitor

You should get something like this:



You could also try pressing the FN key along with F8 once or twice and seeing if any options pop out.

hey thanks for reply, the fn key works but alternates between either screen/both on.
i want it so i can drag/drop between each screen.
the option to do it came on te first time i plugged in the cable but i cant work out how to get back to it? :/

Well what you can do is click "Identify" to setup which monitor is 1 and which is 2.
After that, under the option called "Multiple displays", you can adjust what you see on the second monitor.
If you want those two screens to co-op with each other, simply select "Extend your displays"
