When I edit my signature or notes, after I hit the edit button again to save it, it simply reverts to the original state. It is quite frustrating, any help would be nice.

Hmm, click on the signature, set that as the desired number (1 or 2). Then click on your notes, set that as the other number (1 or 2). Then click on update settings and then save settings.

Unless if you're talking about the actual content in the signature and notes. If your information isn't saving, then I'm not sure.
It might be worth trying to clear your cache if you haven't already.

In the case that Fault's explanation does not help:

You say you "hit the edit button again to save it". This might be the problem, since you actually hit no button twice.
To edit your notes or signature, you first need to press the edit button:
When you are finished editing, press the edit signature / edit notes button below the text box.

The information itself is not saving.

When I hit the edit button, it reloads my profile page, without setting my signature.

Can you edit your notes/signature using a different browser?
