I have a USB that I just bought today and put a load of anti malware, anti virus etc on it from my PC to then transfer to my Dads pc 'cos it had some virus that was posing as E-Set antivirus 2011 or something. Anyway it all worked and I got rid of the virus/malware.

Is the USB safe to use on my pc now?
Should I scan it with bitdefender and also malwarebytes when I plug it in just to be sure?

Plug in the USB stick, go to:
Start --> Computer --> Right click on the USB stick --> Scan with your anti virus/malware tools

the most common infection with the usb is the shortcut exploit (patched, make sure your windows update are on) or a hidden autorun.inf that runs a hidden file on the usb created by the virus
to see if theres any hidden autorun.inf, google flash disinfector from prevx (anti-virus company)
and i checked E-Set antivirus 2011 and it doesn't seem to create files on the USB, so you're safe

and as stated as above, do a normal scan with your anti-virus on the USB if you're still not sure

good luck
