Hi friends! :hello:

So I posted here a few days ago about this ugly line under users who had stars. I was told to uninstall google chrome and so I deleted the shortcut and then the application then re-downloaded it and the line disappeared.

Then yesterday I noticed the line came back, I didn't do anything to make it reappear it just suddenly came back.

I really just want to know how to completely uninstall google chrome.

Edit: I use a Mac.

Thanks!!
~ Heath

drag the chrome app to the trash and along with it, the files in user>library>application support>google>chrome .. just delete the chrome folder since I think its the place where they keep the settings.

Did that, just re-installed but still had all my tabs, passwords, everything.

I also simply dragged everything I could find into the trash and then emptying the trash and then re-installing chrome.

I tried downloading CleanMyMac to uninstall it but it requires a license.

I want a fresh chrome, no tabs of mine, no passwords saved, no theme. When I install I want it to look brand spanking new

I tried to look it up again, but this was all that I could find on the Google Chrome support page.

  1. Go to the folder containing Google Chrome.
  2. Drag Google Chrome to the Trash icon in the Dock. You'll need administrative rights if it's installed in your Applications folder. To remove the Google Chrome icon from your Dock, simply drag it out of the Dock with your mouse.

Yeah I saw that exactly but when I re-installed everything was still the same.

Never thought it would be this hard to get rid of something

Line isn't there on Safari, but I'm not switching to something other than google chrome, I love it.

Also yes it is just Light Chrome that this line is appearing on, but I'm not switching that either, way to use to it :(
