I'm going to be purchasing a sportsbike and I was just curious, will I be required to provide a down-payment to finance it from the dealership? Do they even do this? Should I provide one anyways if given the option? for instance to lower my monthly payments?

Pros? cons?

Any and all information about this subject is appreciated, thanks. :)

Yeah, you can't drive it off the lot without a down payment. Pay as much as you can

If ur planning on financing a down payment is usually required

The minimum DP is usually determined by ur credit rating, lenth of time financed & what payment amounts u want

The Bigger the DP u put down the better the intrest rate/payment u get & the sooner u can pay it off

its pretty standard unless they specifically state you don't need one, but that is usually rare and they will destroy you with interest rate
