How do you do it?

right click diablo 2 shortcut
Properties ->
Target should look like this
"C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w
or if u have windows 7 it should have x86 or soemthing

right click on the icon
go to propertys
and then theres a target

type -w at the end of the target
a
and done

Go to properties and add -w at the end of the path.

yea i have windows 7 and its not working with -w

It should work. Make sure that the diablo.exe is a shortcut or else it wont work.
Go to your diablo folder, rightclick Diablo II and press "Create shortcut" or smth like that.
When your shortcut is created, rightclick it and select Properties and add "-w" after.
