The lines are ambiguous and not all mods are on the same page about how rules should be enforced. Just a tip though, do not antagonize the moderators, you will put yourself in a bad spotlight that blows minor violations out of proportion and you will find yourself getting warned for things that mods wouldn't even think of warning someone they have no contact with.

Then it would say it when I try to report the post. But it isn't reported.

Next?

Well if they send warns like they lock scammers, I think I'm in pretty good shape

It doesn't always inform you so easily when someone has sent a moderator a PM :)

rest assured (as per hedonism's post) grudges are not held. The system is designed to be as fair as possible. When you feel you have been slighted we are always willing to hear your case and offer insight into the situation

Moderators will always message you with a reason. In this situation you accused other users of being scammers. Nobody should be accused of being a scammer without proofs. That's the only thing what tcl tried to make you clear.

Back to my original question: Why didn't the moderator I sent a message to say anything to the other person?

Your posts were in fact spam, if you want to discuss it with him you can do that via PM.
If he scammed you simply post in the Scammer Accusation.

And this - you do not see if a post is reported via PM.
Just telling the user "report it via PM" and completely ignoring the report isn't really useful.

You don't see if the other user received a PM.
About the "sufficient proof in the s/a sub forum": This will be dealt with, your "scammer" posts will not help with that.
