There are already many users with a resolution of either 1920*1200 or 1920*1080. Those are the sizes I search for.

its different for everyone, (what ever your monitor size is mostly always the right size) ;)

If you use Win7:
Right click on your desktop --> Screen Resolution --> Here you can scale the resolution from its minimum to maximum

Edit: It's almost the same with other operating systems. Always start with a right click on the desktop, you will find it. ;)
