Or maybe they should look at the site rules and verbal / warn people for breaking them?
If a mod is having a bad day and wants to abuse his power by warning someone for calling a troll an "idiot" or something similar, he should be dealt with by the moderation team and perhaps remove his rights to give out those warns. I get suspended for the stupidest shit ALL the time.

Those are derogatory terms and are not appropriate, they can be insults/etc, Try looking at the forum rules.
