So... why maximize it?

Because I need it maxed to see the columns far to the right. Yes, I have changed all the column widths to the way I want to see it when minimized. Yes I know I can move columns around. I max the screen a lot, 10 to 20 times a day in the 8+ hours a day I have iTunes on.

Can't you just diable Aero? Should be the easiest thing, unless you really need Aero.

What is Aero? If it's an add on app I doubt I'd have it

for vista
you can disable it by right clicking on your desktop and selecting personalize, from here click "window color and appearance", underneath color intensity click on "open classic appearance properties for more color options", from here change the color scheme from windows aero to something like the basic version.

for windows 7
right click the desktop and select personalize, scroll down to the themes and select a basic version

48 hour bump.....

What worked on my mac was clicking the maximize button. try moving the taskbar to one of the sides or the bottom, and click the maximize button on the itunes window so it fits-to-screen
