how often are you trying to log in? if its frequently, it will only extend the ban

and also, you've probably been tagged as a potential bot user so your temp bans are likely to last longer

i have this same problem, but i just bought diablo yesterday, i havent been able to connect to battlenet at all yet, i do have an internet connection, and a modem(no router). Please help if you can.

any ideas?

Tempbans/ipbans usually don't last more than 2 weeks I think you should contact blizzard if you are tempbanned for more than 2 weeks or attempt to change your ip address. I think the time will increase if you attempt to login during the temp ban. My tempbans/ipbans usually only last 10-12 hours and they have never been a week.

Renew your IP it helps for Temporarily disabled connections on characther page,realm down, and this.
you got to go to command prompt and type ipconfig /release then type ipconfig /renew

EDIT:Window Platforms only (2000,XP,Vista) idk with windows 7 but prob it works too

you get banned for a short period for making to many games in a short amount of time.. maybe your baalruns went extremely fast i get the same thing when doing key runs
