I was able to upload all my iphone photos to iPhoto so I'm good, thanks :)

I still need to figure out how to downgrade to iOS 3 though.

I'm unsure if completely restoring your iPhone back to 0 and then only applying the iOS3 firmware would work, but that's a suggestion.

If you can't, then I'm afraid the only way would be through 3rd party programs :S
